Married Again in the Philippines

Im Fil-US Citizen, i married my husband in the Philippines then i petition him using fiancee visa to US, after 6 years he divorce me in the US. Now i want to marry again in the Philippines as Pilipino citizen not as american citizen. He is married but separated for morethan 4years now. We meet last year in the Philippines and we email a lot. He want to annul his married using presumption of death then will plan to get married this year. What will I do with my marriage before in the Philipines? After will get married with my new boyfriend i can petition him to US. Please help me.

You need to talk to an attorney in the Philippines. Philippino marriage and divorce laws are very different than the laws here. Good luck!

I agree with Ms. Bushman, especially since he is planning to terminate his marriage under Filipino law, and you plan to marry under Filipino law. If the Philippine government recognizes and approves the termination of his marriage, and the marriage between the two of you, then Texas will reciprocate and recognize it as well.
