Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am married but got pregnant while we were seperated. Me and my husband are currently working things out. I have not spoke to the alleged dad since I found out. My husband wants to take full responsibility and have his name on the birth certificate what complications can occure over time?

This plan is not a good plan.
Under Texas law, the biological father could come back someday and assert his parental rights by filing a paternity suit. He would win, since the DNA test would show him to be the real father. This would be a horrible thing for the child to have to live through.
It's going to be a lot of trouble, but you should file a suit for termination of parental rights, and get the biological father to sign an affidavit of relinquishment.
