Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i had married someone and shortly after we seperated and he moved to colorado and said he would get it anulled. never heard from him after that. Moving forward 8 years later, i decided to get married again and i did. But i have recently ran into his mom and she told me (im here in texas) that she doesnt think he ever paid to get it annuled. what do i do.?

Where were you married? In Texas? If that's the case, then the annulment would have had to be in a Texas court.

You can check with the BVS to see if the annulment was ever done:

My guess is that it was never done.

That being the case, you probably need to get a divorce from husband #1 so that your marriage to husband #2 isn't a felony (bigamy).
