Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

married twice

I married my wife, twice.

Each in different counties.

One, we married just by ourselves.

Then when we returned to our home town, the family wanted us

to marry again with them present.

Do I need to get a Divorce from both counties, or just one county???

I already have one divorce, but her lawyer said I must go to the other county to get a divorce there.....

Re: married twice

That's absurd. You can only have one legal marriage at a time. You were only married to one wife. You only need one divorce.
