Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Married and wife left the state with our kid.

I live in Austin have a great job. I am married and have an 8 month old daughter. I am a great father and ok husband. I don't abuse either my wife or my kid.

My wife decided I don't love her anymore and got on a plane and flew to Atlanta GA with my daughter. She said she was taking a vacation for two weeks and was going to stay with her mom. Her mom bought the plane ticket. 2 weeks later she called me and told me she wasn't coming home and that she felt like I was not in love with her.

Later after she broke the bad news to me she said that her and her mom had pre=planned the entire thing. What can I do about this legally? I love my daughter and my wife has taken her away from me?

Thanks

Re: Married and wife left the state with our kid.

Unfortunately you need to file for divorce.

Right now, your wife probably has no jurisdiction to file in Georgia.

If you file for divorce now, you can have the divorce in Texas.

If you live in Harris or Fort Bend County, call me for a free consulation.
