Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been married for 22 years. My husband is cheating with a coworker on the job. He took money from his retirement and he moved out. I file childsupport for two kids one 17 and the other 11. He know it won't be long before his paying child support days are over due to the kids ages. He also left me with 12,000.00 worth of debt. And he is delibertly letting the bills get delinquent just to cause me stress and anguish. I am a Type ll diabetic who has been working for 3 years partime with a set pay of 24 hrs.makeing $12.67 an hour. i have no health insurance due to a prexisting condition and now since the separation. He chose to leave me and the kids burdended down with debt. Can he be sued for delibert acts of letting the bills get dilinquent. Please Give Me Some Good Advice

You need to get a good lawyer and file for divorce. The Court can make adjustments in the division of community property (60-40 instead of 50-50, for instance) based on your husband's wrongful conduct. I'm afraid that's your only recourse for "deliberate acts of letting bills get delinquent," which isn't a crime or even a tort in Texas.

File for divorce immediately, and ask for temporary orders.
