Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
hi I am married for 7yrs. I live with my in-laws and husband. I have one child. From the day 1 of my marriage my hubby and in-laws harrase me a lot. I have never filed a police case against them any time as I was scared of divorce. Accordind to law here i heard after divorce wife's don't get any alimony here and I don't have any idea where he hides his money. I am a house wife so no source of income for me.If i take divorce I cannot even take my child to india as i cannot seperate him from his father. i have no family or friends here. How can i even stay here alone with my son? Is there any other option for me? It's become difficult for me to go through this mental and physical harrasement from them. Please help.
i canot pay by credit card because my hubby checks all credit card bills online so i cannot pay for this.

Consider leaving him and going to a women's shelter (you can find the nearest one online), and ask for legal help from one of the local publicly-funded legal clinics.
In connection with a pending divorce, you can ask the court to order your husband to pay temporary spousal support AND temporary child support.
