My name is Matilde Sanchez my question is: I'm divorced and I have a 15 year old we live in Duncanville, TX, my daughter doen't want to go with her father on his visitation days. I have friend in the same situation and her lawer told her that when children are 14 yrs. old they don't have to visit the other parent, Is that correct?

I'd go talk to her attorney.
I tell my clients it is when they turn 18.
That is not correct. You could be held in contempt (and possibly jailed) for not having her go. if there is really a problem, then you might need to get the order changed, but that may not be easy.
There is no right for a child not to have possession until they turn 18; in a hearing to change the order, I have never seen a judge tell a 17 year old what to do, but that is three years off.
You should have an attorney if you want to change the order or especially if you intend to violate it.
