Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Matter of Record
My ex-wife had it put in our divorce decree that we are not allowed to have members of the opposite sex spend time with the children until the youngest is 2 and no over nights until the youngest is 5. In the agreement we have excluded my girlfriend that I have a child with. She has recently started seeing someone and in under a month has intoduced and he has started spending the night with my kids. I want to have this put on public record to show that she is breaking the divorce decree. She says that she does not have to abide by those rules because we are divorced. How do I let the courts know what she is doing without pressing charges and making a bigger mess out of the situation.

Re: Matter of Record
I don't know what charges you're going to press unless the overnighter is endangering the children. However, she might be in contempt of the order of the court. You could file a motion to enforce and see how big a mess that makes out of the situation.
