Medical or Dental coverage

I am required to provide health insurance. Will I be required to paid half of orthodontics or braces, or are braces cosmetic and not cover under medical for dental?

If you have a standard order, you are probably on the hook for 50% of the uninsured expenses. READ YOUR ORDER! The section on health care is long and detailed and should spell out what your obligations are.

If your order does not specifically address orthodontia, you may need a clarification from the court.

In every case I have handled orthodontia was ruled as a medical/dental expense.
