Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Medical Expenses for Child

I have a court order that my child's father is to pay 50% of all medical expenses not covered by insurance. I have submitted the bills to him on any occasions and he will not pay and they are mounting up. How should I handle this? Do I need to hire a lawyer, I really don't have the money for this additional expense?

Re: Medical Expenses for Child

You need to file a motion for enforcement requesting that the court order him to pay the 50% and assess attorney's fees against him for failing to obey the court orders.

Yes, you should hire a lawyer to assist you.
