Medical Insurance not paid

I am ordered to provide medical insruance on my children at all times and if it's not available through my employer but is through my ex wifes then she is to enroll them on her's and I reimburse her. The insurance got cancelled July 8th, 2008 and I wasn't notified until over a week after. It was cancelled because she hasn't paid the insurance company since January 08! I have been paying her for the insurance since then and even for the whole month of July. She said she used it to help pay for the kids activities, so she will not give me the money back for the July's insurance. What can I do?

One, get busy and get the kids back on health insurance so you're not in violation of your decree. Depending on your situation you can try medicaid, CHIPS, or a private provider like Unicare or BCBS. Two, depending on how much money is involved, get a good family law attorney and go after her.
