Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have medical issues, have been labeled disabled, by Social Security have a little money coming in a few weeks, but owe more than half of it to bills, $150K, which leaves me w/only 90 K and inelgible for disability or SSI but I would be able to get work as an actress as crew in a limited capacity in LA or NY but courts are limiting me in countiesin which I can go. Some mornings I cannot walk except if I take major medications. I also have seizure hx.. But ex only will take not the son, daughter hates him for what he has put us through. He will only take both kids for the money leaving me w/nothing. He has never taken them overnight because he does not want them to see how nice of a place he has and that he perjured himself. His family I am sure bought the judge and my daughter wants to wants to divorce him, son wants to live w, him but he won't take him. It was family violence, though no arrests. I was victimized 4-5 times not just once. I cannot stand or sit for long periods, and fall through the cracks everywhwhere, because insurance is going to eat up the rest of what I have coming along with my medications and there are 3 of us in a 1 bedroom. He is just wanting no responsibilities, the son is 17 1/2 and my daughter is 16 1/2 he just still wants to torture me. and there are 3 of us in a 1 bedroom. My credit is totally shot I have no credit cards, I have been in several wrecks though not my fault, trying to get medical help, and now w/no insurance, I am having a very rough time. We barely have food or gas.

1. A child cannot divorce a parent.
2. You never really ask a question.
3. If your children want to go to college, they can apply for financial aid and probably get it. Be sure to have them apply for the Rodeo Scholarship! They don't need to have raised chickens, etc. to apply to the rodeo. With all your health issues, it should help. I had cancer my daughter's senior year in high school and the rodeo gave her a 4 year scholarship to Texas Stae University.
4. If you are really having financial problems, the children should be able to apply for federal aid at their high schools. Have them ask their counselors for the forms. It will also enable them to apply to colleges for free. It might allow them to take the SAT for free, check into that too.
You need to learn to work the system!
You got lemons, now turn it into lemonaide!
