Medical Retirment vs Retirement

I am to receive a one time pay off from my ex-husband when he retires. He took a medical retirement and is drawing his retirement, isn't that the same? He says no.

Once he accesses his retirement my opinion is that you are due your share. Better get back with your lawyer for enforcement. These things aren't automatic.
