Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

medical support

I divorced in 1996, at that time child support and medical support were ordered to be paid by my ex-husband. One year later, one of the children chose to change his custody to his father, leaving the children divided two to each parent. At that point I agreed to not seek child support anymore but this was an agreement between myself and my ex. He was supposed to continue medical support though. He has failed to maintain insurance on the children for quite some time. Three of the four children are now past 18 and no longer live with either of us. The only remaining minor child is 13 and lives with me. How can I get him to provide medical support for her and can I actually get him to pay child support on her also? He is being totally financially neglectful and I'm tired of having to pay for everything myself. What am I legally entitled to at this point? The agreement for him to not pay child support anymore was never presented in court.

You can ask the court to hold him in contempt or ask for a modification.
