Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

This is a messy case, however, I will make it short. A few years ago I got into an issue with CPS, drinking problems, this happened in Texas and I was moving to California for employment. My mother had my son, temporary, while I was in California she called me and said that if I signed a paper that I would get my son back quicker, nothing would change. All she faxed me was the signature page, she is my mother and I trusted her, come to find out I gave her sole conservatory, I would've never signed those papers if I knew that, I would've waited it out. I was just trying to get him back sooner. My question is, since all I received was the signature page faxed to me is this binding? I am trying to get my son back and she is fighting me. It's a mess. Thanks for your help.

You need to talk to a lawyer. What did you sign - an agreed court order? A private contract-type agreement? A Rule 11 agreement? Is there something pending in the courts right now?
