Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Mine or His?
I've been separated from my ex for 6 months now and now he's demanding that I pay him for a motorcycle that he gave me as a gift. I'm not so worried about that since the title is in my name, but the title to my car is in both of our names. When we separated he got the house, his car, his motorcycle, and almost everything in the house. I left with my car, my motorcycle and my personal items. I contributed to all the bills and feel that I should be able to keep these things. Does he have any right to demand payment from me now?

If you received the cycle as a gift, it's yours. Do you have an order from the Court for the property division you describe?
Re: Mine or His?
You need to file for divorce and ask for temporary orders so that each of you can keep what is in your possession and both of you would be ordered not to sell or purchase any substantial item.
You need to deal with the house and vehicle issues.
Texas does not have legal separation.
