Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
mistrial, etc
I've been in a custody battle. Where it seemed it all went my way in court but the judge ruled in her favor. In the court before any questions were asked we all(her me, and witnesses) got sworn in, and instructed not to speak about the case to each other untill the court case was done. The witnesses were told to stay out in the hall till called.
In the first court break, I later found out she (the petioner) told, at least, one of her two only witnesses what she was asked on the stand.
With the lawyer i have, i haven't seen the orders but know the judge ruled and my lawyer hasn't answered any of my questions. its been approxmatly 2 months since we were in court.
Is this grounds for a mistrial?

Re: mistrial, etc
You are represented by counsel. Call your lawyer, advise him/her of this exchange, and what proof exists. Talk to him/her about the appeals process.
