Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

modification

I recently changes jobs this past April to go from 16hr days to 12hr days because I am entering my senior level classes in college (I am 43yrs old) this allows me more time to focus on school with more study time. I was working from 3am until around 7pm & now I work 7am to 7pm. The only thing is that this job does not pay as much as my last one. My ex filed for modification and is requesting 5 yrs of tax returns. My question is: will the CS be based on what I am currently making or will it be based on my past wages?

Re: modification

That can vary, especially if your ex tries to claim you are willfully underemployed. You should review your case a good family law attorney. I offer no-cost consultations. Feel free to call my office and speak with Arlene to set up an appointment.
