Money as a Gift

My father is receiving an inheritance from his mother and wants to give my sister and I some money as a gift. I am married and would like to know if my husband is legally entitled to any of my gift?

Gifts are separate property. It's yours as long as you keep it separate from your community estate. Talk to an attorney.
