Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a two month old and the father is not on the birth certificate. we are awaiting a court date for child support right now. im just wondering what the visitation usually is for such a young child? i really dont want her gone for the whole weekend right now

There's something in the Family Code called a "standard possession order," a specific visitation schedule, and the law says that there is a PRESUMPTION that this schedule is in the best interest of a child ... if the child is age 3 or older. For children younger than 3, the Court usually does something OTHER than a "standard possession order," and also makes a PROSPECTIVE order (it kicks in on the child's third birthday) which IS the "standard possession order."
