What does your court order say? You have the rights that are spelled out in the order. If you do not have one, consider filing a Petition in Suit Affecting Parent-Child Relationship. The process will result in you being legally declared the child's father, as well as support, possession, access, rights, duties, etc. If you have an order, and are not satisfied with the terms, consider filing a Petition to Modify. Generally speaking, these are not DIY, the procedural and evidentiary processes can be complex. This site has many experienced family attorneys in your area that you can contact. Good luck.
