Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
The mother of the kids is involved in CPS (This is not the first time). She told the father that CPS is pressing her to file for child support. Papers were served to the father and the mother told him that Medicaid filed support on him. On the court day the father asked for a paternity test. The day of the testing the mother failed to appear with the kids. What will happen to the mother and what is the next step from here?

If the court ordered a genetic test, file a motion to enforce seeking contempt. Make sure your enforcement motion has an ORDER TO APPEAR on the bottom of it. Have her served with the motion. If she doesn't show up with the child as ordered, she may go to jail.
