Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
The mother was given an oral drug test recently. She did not pass. She GAVE my daughter and her sister up to her mother. CPS says 30 days for investigation. Noone has contacted me from CPS. The number i was given was incorrect. What happens after 30 days? can i try to get custody from the grandmother? why does the grandmother have legal rights to my daughter before i do? Can i ask for random drug tests on the mother?? The mother and I are both joint conservators. please help

The grandmother does not have any legal rights. She does not "have custody."
You can file a motion for modification based on changed circumstances (Mom failed the drug test). Forget CPS; they're a dead end.
