Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My mother and I had a verbal agreement regarding my daughter. I agreed to let her finish the year of school in Austin,TX. The school year is over and my mother isn't in agreement with the original plan. Can't I just go get her?

Yes, you can. If you can get her without committing any acts of violence, go get her.

In the alternative, you can file an application for a writ of habeas corpus.
