Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

motion to compell and sanctions

My husband's ex-wife just turned in her discovery. She did not answer all the questions and the ones she did were vague or incomplete. She refused to provide any records or documents. Our attorney filed motion to compell and sanctions. Does the court only impose the sanctions if she doesn't finish it this time? What happens if she is still imcomplete and vague? I understand the attorney's fees but what about the other 5 the court can impose? Do they?
