Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I need to move back with my family from TX the CA due to financial hardhsip. I'm looking for a sample letter to send to my ex requesting that I can take our daughter with me at least for a year. Our daughter lives with me and she visits her dad twice a week. I don't want to take her away from him, this is just something I need to do right now.

You need to read you current orders. They probably prohibit you from changing the residence of the child from your area. If so, you will need to modify the orders, but if the father objects, the judge is not likely to allow it, especially if she sees him twice a week. Your options then would be to either stay here or let the child stay here with him. As you can see, you might be better off coming to an agreement with the father. You need a qualified family law attorney to help you.
