You are a minor until you reach majority. 3 months is as good as 3 years.

However, if you move out, what can anyone do about it? Not likely they can start legal proceedings and have them concluded by the time you reach age 18, is there?

If you are otherwise capable of taking care of yourself without your Mother's help, then perhaps it is time for you to move. If you will require assistance in your support, then perhaps you should rethink things.
