Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If I move out my home and leave my husband with our children can he request or order us to go Back to that town? I want to divorce and take our children it's in same state different town. Or if he files for divorce in his town do I have to go back?

Yes, he can ask that you be ordered to return to his town. A judge probably won't grant this request.

You will have to travel back and forth to his town for hearings in the divorce case.

If you live in your new town (new county?) for 90 days, YOU can file locally in the county where you live.
