can you move out at 17 in the state of texas? it says you can. then it says at 17 you can only be reported as an missing person. is this true?

No, you can't move out before the day you turn 18, unless your parents let you or a court emancipates you. But could you do me a favor and tell me where it is you found this information? That's a very common misconception, and I've always wondered why it is so many people think that.
