Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Moving to europe
My Step-daughters are 4 and 5 years old. My husband and his ex-wife got divorced in 2001, and they got joint custody. In sprin of 2002 with notice of less then a week, she moved the children to a different State. In that time, Family members of my husband, went there and visited the children and found them in very bad conditions. They sayed with us for three months. They went back home to live with they'r Mom. They came back to visit us in June 2003. In 2003, after a week back with the Mom, she told us that she can't take care of them anymore, that she can't pay child support, health insurance or financially support them in any other way, but she want's my husband to have sole custody. He went back to court and the court granted him sole custody. Now here is my question: I--name removed--from Europe, and my and my husband would like to move over there. We want the childrent to go with us. What should we do?

Re: Moving to europe
You need to have an attorney review the last document signed by a Judge to determine if there are any residency restrictions on you.
Good luck!
