Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

No-fault divorce

My husband and I are looking to get a no-fault divorce and want to minimize costs. First, in Texas, can we do any of the filing ourselves or must we use an attorney? Second, if we have to use an attorney, can we use the same one to minimize the cost?

Re: No-fault divorce

It is not necessary to use an attorney to obtain a divorce, but it can be a cheaper alternative. As long as the parties are in agreement, only one attorney is necessary, but the attorney can only represent one person. If you want me to assist you in this matter, please call 1-877-320-5232
