Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
If a non contested divorce is filed, a waiver is signed by the respondent and it's now 2 weeks past the 60 waiting period, what would be the hold up in getting the divorce finalized if the lawyer isn't in court for trial since scheduling a court date isn't necessary because they can go and just get their name/case on the docket for any particular morning? Could it be the partitioner holding things up?

Is this your lawyer? If so, have you contacted your lawyer to schedule a time to wrap up the divorce? If this is the other spouse's attorney then you should ask your spouse what is going on.
