Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am the non custodial parent. We have standard rights to visitation, nothing was modified in our court papers in the state of Texas. My ex is claiming that a) I do not get the kids in the month of June...at all. My reading of the papers state that I have to forfeit one weekend that she chooses as long as it is not Father's Day weekend. This is also provided that she gives a 14 day notice.
She is also stating that I am not entitled to the standard visits on Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm. Reading over the papers, I do not see anything that specifically cuts those visits.
Am I entitled to the children for the weekends in June and on the Thursdays throughout the summer?

You need to read your order. Not all orders are the same.
Write her a letter (paper letter - stop using the telephone). Keep a copy for your records. Put a DATE on the letter. Tell her that (a) you will be exercising your weekend visitation in June and (b) you will be exercising your Thursday evening visitation. And then do it. Show up at her front door at the appointed time. Maybe bring a witness.
If she violates the court order, sue her for contempt and ask the Judge to put her in jail.
