Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
As a non custodial parent I have standard vistiations, however at the beginning of the school year the Custodial parent asked me to pick up my son from school, I went to my employer and changed my schedule to do this and have been picking up my son every day from school. The custodial parent threaten my 10 year old son that if he doesn't call her when he is visiting me she would not allow him to see me as much as he has seen me in the past, now she will not allow me to pick up the son anymore from school eventhough I changed my schedule and she asked me to do it and my son has had a normal routine. My question is because she asked me to change my schedule and I did at my job with my employer to pick up my son is that legal? Also I told her that is fine as long as it is her picking him up but she is not the one picking him up it is her sister who he doesn't live with so I thought I should get first refusal can you advised?

If your decree does not allow you to pick up after school, then you need to file a petition to modify to change it.
