non custodial parental rights

if a father signed over legal custody rights when the child was a toddler and now the child is 16 years old and both want to see each other? the mother will not allow contact. what legal rights does the father have, if any?

If his parental rights were legally terminated, he has no rights.

If the kid wants to see him after the child turns 18, then the child can do whatever he/she wants.

Once the kid is 18, the man can contact the child. Whether there is any contact is then up to the 18 yr. old.
