Non-custodial mom is not getting fair share

I am a non-custodial parent (mom) and my ex-husband is not paying for his portion of expenses related to travel for our daughters visitation with me. Our custody order states he will pay for half or his portion of the travel for our daughter to visit me. What can I do to get him to pay me for the last 3 flights I have paid for? Our court order says he is in contempt each time and will face a $500 each occurance. Is there any way for me to inforce this myself or through a lawyer? thanks.

You need to go back to the court of continuing jurisdiction and file "contempt". If the case is outside of Texas, it might be called something different in your state.

You probably need a lawyer since he can only be held in contempt if you use very specific wording to show what he's done to violate the current court's order.

Since you might be able to collect some attorney's fees, many attorneys would be interested in such a case.

If neither of you live in the state you divorced in, then you need to transfer the case to the state the child now resides in.
