Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Non-custodial parent's lawyer ignored my demand for child support arrears letter for 3 months, way past my deadline. Am I bound by the terms of that letter, or may I add new language to ask for interest on the amount owed?

It doesn't matter what you ask for. Child support arrearages draw interest by law, and if you offered some kind of settlement, it isn't binding. Child support isn't a contract between you and Dad; it is the subject of a Court order.
