notification of illness/grades

My divorce says that my ex if lible if she does not inform me of illness or school grades, how do I go about not filing charges but ensuring that these times are logged so that they will not be repeated?

There won't be any charges. This is a civil matter not a criminal matter. You need to talk to a good family law attorney. He or she can explain things to you and you can decide if you want to file an enforcement action against your ex.

I suspect that you don't understand the wording in your decree. Do you have the right to access medical and school information? If so, then you can go to the kid's school and meet with the teachers, principal, etc.

You can ask for a copy of the report cards, absentee records, etc.

I charge $100 to sit down with you and explain your decree to you for an hour.

If it takes more than an hour, then I charge $50 every 30 minutes after the first hour.
