We have been taking care of my cousin since he was 6 month's his mother left him. Now 6years later she wants to take him but he doesn't know her can she do that

She can take her son unless a court says she can't. If you want to adopt the child, you would probably have to terminate her parental rights. Consult an adoption attorney.
