Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Open v. Closed Adoption

I am birth mother and chose open adoption after finding a wonderful family. Now, the birth father - who knew about the pregnancy and offered no support, no money, and seemed to approve of the adoption - is contesting. In Texas - can we change from open to closed at this point? Very important as I'm due any minute. (Since all legal issues are handled by adoptive parent lawyer, I can't get legal advice from them)

This question should be addressed by the lawyer for the adoptive parents. If they want to go through with this adoption, they should be helping you with this matter. Good Luck.
