can i be ordered to pay child support for my son even though my parental rights were terminated soon after his birth, he is 12 now and does and has lived in Connecticut his whole life and I live in Texas

It is possible (under Texas law) for a person whose parental rights are terminated to be ordered to pay child support. However, I have never seen it happen, and I believe it happens only in extreme or unusual circumstances.
