Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
overnight guest
Can an ex wife control whether or not you have overnight guest in your home with the children present even though there is nothing in the divorce decree that notes no overnight guest? If taken back to court to have no overnight guest added to custody terms what are the chances of the judge approving this?

Re: overnight guest
The short answer is "no". If there is no prohibition in the existing order, neither party has authority to unilaterally add to the order.
Most judges will grant "no visitor" clauses if either party requests it at the time of divorce. In post-divorce suits, some judges may do so and others may not. The primary consideration is probably the ages of the children. With young children, the judge is more likely to grant that type order.
