Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Overnight Visitation in Texas

My husband and I separated two months ago. We do not have any temporary orders yet. When our 2 1/2 year old came back from her weekend visit. She told me that my husband's girlfriend was at his home. She also told me that the woman slept in her bed. I asked where my husband in daughter slept and she said in her bed also. I know I can put a morality clause in our documents, but until then, do I have the right to refuse overnight visitation?

Re: Overnight Visitation in Texas

You stated that you have no temporary orders in place. You can refuse overnight visitation, but you will probably incur the wrath of the judge. Your better course of action is to hire a lawyer, and ask that the temporary orders restrict overnight visits from the girlfriends.
