Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Paid off child support but now Texas wants more money

Child support payments were taken out of my check for several years. The order was from Texas where I resided with my family. I moved to Alabama during the payments so Texas transferred the payments to Shelby County Alabama. Two years ago I had it paid in full. Now Texas has started garnishing my wages and said that I did not pay their balance in full and they have been adding on interest penalties for the last two years. They say I still owe $4261 more. It seems to me that they made the mistake and now I have to pay more interest on top of the interest I already paid. What can I do legally to stop this garnishment and fight these charges?
