Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Parental Rights
I have my child's father on child support. He now wants to give up all rights to my son. Does he have to pay me child support even if he gives up all rights to the child? Also, if he does give up all rights, can he come back later and decide he wants his rights back?

Re: Parental Rights
He can surrender parental rights without losing child support obligation. Surrender is usually permanent unless there is some really good reason.
