Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

parental rights

Whenever I was 16 I gave birth to a baby girl, my boyfriend who was 28 left me and told me that it was my problem. Now that my daughter is almost 3 he came back into my life with demands that he can take away my daughter because he has already done this to one of his other children's mother. Whenever my baby was born I listed my future husband as the father because we were preparing for our wedding and the real father did not want to have anything to do with her. What are my rights in this situation and what are his rights? Is there anything that I can do ?
