Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Parental Rights???
I have an 11 year old son. I was never married to the mother. She has filed for my parental rights to be taken away because she has remarried, so that her husband can adopt my son. I have been told that it was done and I can't see my son, but shouldn't I have recived something from the court? And why are they still taking child supporrt from my check? I am a contracter and have been out of work for 2 weeks she is calling me and telling me I'm going to jail for not paying child support? How can this happen?

Somethings sounds "funny" to me.
Run (do not walk) to the county family court where your child lives to get a certfied copy of the papers. However, the court might have "sealed the records" in an adoption but it's worth a trip to find out.
You need to know the court and the cause number.
Or immediately hire an attorney to assist you through this maze.
If she terminated your parental rights, time is of the essence!
If you live in the Houston area, I offer a free phone consultation at 713-847-6000.
Best of luck!
