Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Parental testings and my rights
If an old girlfriend had a child approximately 15 years ago and her ex-husband is found not to be the father and she is severly in debt and she believes I am the father, what are my rights?

Well, it could be a mess. You need to contact an attorney to discuss the entire situation, your obligations and rights.

With the increased use of DNA testing, this happens much more frequently than it used to.
Every situation is different and there was not enough information to know exactly what happened. You probably need to find a local family law attorney immediately. You need to be aware not only of your possible obligations, but also your rights.
