Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

parents rights

My wife and i split up two weeks ago she took the child back to her home town and i dont have a contact number for her but what i do have is a number to her parol officer should they be able to help on this matter what are my rights on this

The parole officer is under no obligation to assist you in locating your child without a subpoena. You might want to think about filing for divorce to get custody of the child. This might bring her home.

You can also to to the website for the Office of the Texas Attorney General and learn more about parental righs and duties.
